Movement has been the thread through everything
Corlene Johnston is a physiotherapist with an honours degree and a deep fascination with the way the brain shapes movement — and the way movement, in turn, shapes the brain. That fascination became NeuroMotion: a practice dedicated to neurodevelopment, movement, recovery and performance.
Her work spans the whole arc of a moving life. In the same week she might help a baby who is late to crawl, guide a patient through rehabilitation after surgery or a neurological event, and fine-tune the movement patterns of a competitive athlete. The common thread is always the same: understand how this brain and this body are talking to each other, then help the conversation flow.
NeuroMotion is based in George, in the heart of the Garden Route, serving families, patients and athletes from the surrounding communities.

The philosophy
Whole-person care
A diagnosis is a starting point, not a definition. Treatment is shaped around the person, their goals and their life.
Brain-first movement
Lasting change comes from retraining how the brain organises movement — not just stretching and strengthening muscle.
Family in the room
Parents and loved ones are part of the team. Home programmes make progress happen between sessions.
Evidence with empathy
Modern, evidence-based practice delivered with patience, honesty and encouragement.
The brand
NeuroMotion in motion
Empowering movement. Enhancing potential. Changing lives.
